The use of broad-spectrum antibiotics leads to a reduction in normal gastrointestinal flora – dysbacteriosis (a condition caused by an imbalance of the bacteria normally found in the intestines), with possible diarrhea, constipation, and the appearance of fungal infections;
Helps the body recover after antibiotic therapy;
Promotes the normal functioning of the intestinal microbial flora;
Has a beneficial effect on gastrointestinal discomfort;
Exerts a positive influence on the immune system.

Mechanism of action:
FERMENTIX ORAL SOLUTION is a SYNBIOTIC (a combination of probiotics and a prebiotic) containing tyndallized bacteria. Tyndallized bacteria are heat-inactivated. There is growing interest in non-viable microorganisms for use as probiotics, primarily through the process of tyndallization. The combination of heat treatments with periods of lower temperatures (ambient, cooling, or freezing temperatures) is a process known as tyndallization, due to its similarities to the sterilization method developed by physicist Dr. John Tyndall in the 19th century. This avoids the adverse effects that live bacterial strains may have. Heat-treated probiotic cells are able to exert beneficial effects, mainly immunomodulatory, protection against enteropathogens, and maintenance of the integrity of the intestinal barrier [1].
Various strains, including lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, are able to induce beneficial effects in their heat-inactivated form [2].
Heat-killed probiotics are also able to antagonize pathogens with antimicrobial compounds and compete with pathogens for adhesion and colonization [3,4].
Data show that heat-killed bacteria have key probiotic effects, with advantages over live probiotics (primarily their safety profile), making them preferred for managing common conditions of gastrointestinal discomfort, especially during antibiotic therapy in immunosuppressed and elderly patients [1]. After heat treatment, industrially grown probiotic bacteria, in most cases, maintain their essential probiotic properties at the intestinal level, thus allowing for the development of safer products.
The main effects of probiotics are as follows:
Balancing and restoring the gut microbiota, protection from pathogens, immunomodulation, and maintenance of the integrity of the intestinal barrier;
Probiotics are able to fight pathogens by producing antimicrobial compounds;
They lower pH;
They inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria by directly binding with Gram-negative bacteria;
They enhance epithelial barrier function to prevent chronic inflammation in the gut;
Probiotic lactobacilli and bifidobacteria regulate the production of inflammatory mediators and favorably regulate inflammation of the intestinal mucosa;
Probiotics can initiate the restoration of barrier function after damage induced by various pathological conditions, such as E. coli-induced mucosal disruption;
Probiotics, such as Lactobacillus and other lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, have been shown to inhibit a wide range of enteropathogens, including E. coli, Salmonella, Helicobacter pylori, Listeria monocytogenes, and rotavirus.
FERMENTIX ORAL SOLUTION is useful for recovery after antibiotic treatment and infections due to its content of five B-group vitamins. Vitamins of this group are of particular importance for the body, and their levels decrease during impaired gastrointestinal function.
FERMENTIX ORAL SOLUTION also contains a sufficient amount of Arabinogalactan. Arabinogalactans are biologically active compounds (prebiotics). Arabinogalactan is an excellent immune system stimulator, stimulating the formation of immune cells twice as effectively as Echinacea.
FERMENTIX ORAL SOLUTION helps strengthen immunity weakened during illness.
Effects of Arabinogalactan:
stimulates the growth and development of beneficial intestinal microflora;
improves intestinal peristalsis;
promotes regular cleansing of the intestinal tract;
adsorbs and removes toxic substances, radionuclides, and heavy metals;
strengthens the immune system;
protects against the negative consequences of antibiotic therapies, protecting the beneficial intestinal microflora from the damaging action of the antibiotic. Microbial Arabinogalactan is a major structural component of the mycobacterial cell wall [5] [6];
contributes to increasing the therapeutic effect when used simultaneously with probiotic preparations containing live lacto- and bifidobacteria;
Arabinogalactan is effective for modulating the immune response against the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms [7].
