Product information
Clinitas Multi is indicated for the relief from the sensations of dry eye such as grittiness, burning or foreign body sensation. These can occur either pathologically (e.g. Sjögren's syndrome) or non-pathologically where there is a deficient and/or unstable tear film. It can also be used after refractive surgery e.g. LASIK to ease dryness in the eye.
Sodium Hyaluronate is a very effective active ingredient in products for dry eye. Clinitas Multi contains 0.4% and is the highest level . Created by biotechnology synthesis with mucomimetic, viscoelastic and moisturising characteristics, it is considered by many as the ‘gold standard’ for dry eye relief.
Clinitas® Multi from Altacor uses the Novelia® 10ml bottle and its innovative delivery system. The eye dropper bottle allows our unique sodium hyaluronate 0.4% dry eye formulation to be truly preservative free and be used for up to 3 months once opened.
The dropper mechanism enables the patient to accurately administer single drops. The smooth and soft silicone tip is safer than some alternatives when close to the eye surface. Displaced volume is then replaced by filtered air which enables us to use ZERO preservatives but still maintain complete sterility for 3 months.
